These fans are AMAZING. If you're thinking of getting those expensive Corsair RGB fans, forget it and buy them! First in the box you will find 3 fans, a controller/hub and an RGB cable (this will connect to your motherboard if it has a 3-pin 5V RGB connector). There is another cable designed specifically for Gigabyte motherboards. Unfortunately, if your motherboard doesn't have a 3-pin RGB 5V header, you'll have to use the hub that came with it. Each fan has 2 headers, one for RGB and one for PWN fan control. You have 2 connection options: - you can either connect all fans to the included molex powered hub (to control the colors this way you have to manually press the buttons on the controller) - or you can connect all fans to 5V on 3-pin RGB cable that connects to the motherboard (so you can control colors with Mystic Light or Asus Aura). This cable also has an extra connector so you can connect an extra RGB strip or whatever. I am amazed that these fans work with the Mystic Light software. There are LED rings on both sides of the fan, so there is light no matter how you mount it. The sound and performance of these fans is great. It pushes out a lot of air (more than a regular case fan) and isn't that loud. If you're thinking of buying it, turn it off. At around $10 per fan, that's a lot.
