I bought this LED light to use in a closet that has no lights installed. It was very easy to stick to the door frame above the cabinet door using the 3M spacers provided. If you have a metal surface, the light will stick directly to the metal because of the magnets it contains. I didn't need it, but it's a nice feature. There are a lot of LEDs for the price and this makes the light very bright. Well lit cabinet. I've also attached an image showing the lights in my office when the lights are off. The light is very easy to use and has three settings: always on, moving in the dark and always moving. It was actually a nice feature because there is enough light in the closet during the day that I don't have to turn it on. I leave it on when it's dark. Motion detection works well and I found the 18 second timer suited my needs. You cannot change how long it stays on. So if this is important to you, be sure to test it before you buy it. You can turn it on and off manually at any time, and the button for this is conveniently placed.
