After placing an order I read mixed reviews about this bobbin stand. I was concerned that it would be poorly constructed or weak as some have reported, but I'm happy to report that's not the case. It's solid, sturdy, looks unfinished, all pins are intact, and overall construction is good, which is to be expected at this price point. It was criticized that no mounting material is included, although the seller does not state this, but only advertises the stand as wall mounting. My rack also didn't have any mounting hardware, which doesn't really bother me as I plan on using it standing. I was also concerned that the 550Y size embroidery spools might not fit, as many complaints were received about underspacing and undersized pins. The 550Y coils fit perfectly and have enough space for convenient use. I ordered a set of 63 spools of embroidery thread and it came with the stand. I filled the rack with 60 550Y coils and it remained strong and stable and not prone to falling off like others have experienced. The wood is stapled but mine was assembled neatly with no damage and exactly as described. I am not giving the product 5 stars because it is not a high end product although it serves its purpose and is worth the price. The product was delivered on time, the product corresponds to the image on the site and corresponds to the description. It looks like the production of these shelves hit the mark. Luckily mine was a hit. I would buy again and recommend.
