Nice try but not the best

I originally bought this bag because I thought it would be a clever idea to install a rear bike rack. It seemed to me that it was inspired by a camera bag and it looked like a good solution for carrying your wallet, keys, phone and other small things while cruising around town. Appears to be the length of a standard bike rack; However, I have a pocket under the seat for tools, patches, etc. that takes up some space in the front of the rack so this pocket hangs down in the back. I can live with it. Because it is a soft bag, it will tilt to one side. I can handle that too. The side bags have foldable saddlebags. Until I bought this bag for these they seemed like a nice addition. However, there are some disadvantages: 1) They aren't rigid, so their rigidity depends on what you put in them. The floppy disk pocket hanging on the side of the bike rack invites you to collide with the spokes of the bike. Repeated. 2) You cannot tie down the rear forks. Bags that simply hang from the side of the rack will end up catching on the spokes of the bike. These problems render side saddlebags useless. As if the bag designer had never tried his creation on a bike. If so, the problems would be immediately apparent. I decided to see what I could do to get them working. I put the 3 ring binder in one of the saddlebags and attached it to the rear fork with an elastic cord to keep it from bouncing and catching in the spokes. Then I did a relatively flat seven-mile ride. When I stopped, the saddlebag was torn. The photo shows a gap; This is taken from the side of the bag with the saddlebag open on the table. This bag had a promise; however, he did not keep his promise. If only the bag designer had actually used their creation before putting it into production.

Cons
