Twice I lost my phones in accidents. When I snapped a photo on the ski slope and put the camera back in the inside pocket of my jacket, I just missed. It fell out from under my jacket and I didn't realize it until later. I followed my footsteps and, believe it or not, I found them! Then I put him on a leash. It's essential for skiing, kayaking or any other outdoor activity, but I also use it for shopping (my list is on my phone), walking my dogs, etc. I find it really important.
