I bought this item to help with wintering. Haven't used it yet but plan to do so in the fall. The quality of the brass fittings seems high, with decent weight and clean, beautifully cut carvings. The rubber hose has a very high tensile strength and feels strong. The small valve is very compact and the handle feels less heavy than the rest of the items. I particularly liked that this item comes with both male and female garden hose connectors so it can be used to purify tap water through drain valves and garden hoses.
