This is a really nice lightweight jacket with a 't-shirt' style fabric lining with nylon sleeve lining to keep your shirt sleeves from 'knotting' when I'm trying to to put them on! HOORAY! I've worn it in the rain and it seems very rainproof - mind you, I haven't been noticed with it on for a long time. but again it seems to shed water well. It is also very wind resistant. Trust me we live in a VERY windy area so we are very happy with it. Would buy again.
