Disproportionately loud for its size which is amazing. Love the dumbbell design, fits right in at home gym lol. One note: it comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable which charges it with no problem. But my regular USB-C to USB-C dongle doesn't seem to want to charge it, leading me to believe this device isn't actually USB-C compatible, just using a Du-Jour connector. More importantly, if you read the manual, it specifically states NOT to use a charger with more than 5V, although (if you follow the USB spec correctly) it is supposed to negotiate the power draw. So that's important for the future (USB-A is going away; I think USB-C will be with us for a long time). But yes, the sound! And a waterproof IPX7 speaker by the pool or on the boat! This could be the "boombox" you've been waiting for. Happy with it so far! Now that I've bought myself one to 'listen' to, I might need to get someone else a gift this Christmas! :)
