I bought this projector for an upcoming outdoor living room project. I didn't want something to be overpriced or sold as a "professional" product with the same features and an unimaginably high price! This little projector hit the mark. I unpacked the box, pocketed the droid's spare set-top box, and pointed it at the wall. I was sitting on the floor just wanting to play for a few minutes but ended up watching the whole movie anyway. Don't expect big booms, this is a tiny speaker and great for vocals and background music. The room was loud enough that I didn't notice. For outdoor installations, I have an unused inexpensive soundbar with a stereo input. The last time I dealt with projectors was somewhere in the mid to late 90's. A friend bought for 4000r. The image of this JJP is no worse than this technology was then. The input options are great. Any HDMI source can be connected, as well as Android/Apple/PC USB sources and legacy analog sources such as VHS players, VHS camcorders, etc. Great buy for just about anything you can think of!
