SAFETY DANGEROUS! Lights that come with these cords have an internal ground wire that goes to one of the pins on the connector. These power cords have a socket for this pin; However, there is no third wire to connect it back to the home/building outlet. The pins on the plug are also the same (non-polarized plug). Therefore either side (wire) can be hot or neutral - if there is a proper ground wire it might not matter - but there is no ground wire! As such, they are particularly dangerous near sinks, laundries, stoves, etc. where they are most likely to be used. Also, the end that connects to the mount doesn't fit well - it takes a lot of effort to connect.
