The product is beautiful, light weight, fits many bars but my main issue is how easily the screws holding the two pieces together break out with minimal pressure. I alternately tightened it with two screws until it was tight and I tightened the bottom screw until I thought it would hold in place with no problem. After turning 3/4 of the top screw (a longer piece of aluminum) it tightened and then broke off rendering it unusable. It was odd that the top part came off with less pressure than the bottom. The second mount went in with no problems. Well I have to say that customer service and getting refunds was a breeze. I emailed the seller either Friday night or Saturday morning saying I need half a new piece and to my great surprise I received an email that Saturday. They stated that they could not send a new one due to the coronavirus lockdown but that they would refund my money and I could order a new one. My return came promptly and I turned around and ordered a new set. When installing the new one, I decided I needed to make modifications to the other mount that originally installed with no issues. When I re-tightened it, the top screw on that set broke off. Again, I didn't over tighten it, just a lousy design to use such a small thread on a piece of aluminum. Luckily when they sent me a new kit it was a pair so I still had the extra bracket (so much for use on my kid quad as a headlight). I don't know why they can't make it with a bigger screw or a coarser thread so it doesn't snap off as easily. I ended up using blue Loctite on all the screws but I was reluctant to overtighten the last bracket and I hope it doesn't move on me due to the vibration. Excellent customer service and their willingness to support their product, I gave it 3 stars. The company itself gets 5 stars, they were great!
