Review on Quadcopter DJI Mavic Mini, white by Wiktor Krel ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn³'t expect the quality to be this good.

I did not measure the charging time, but by eye, yes with QuckCharge - about an hour per battery. Charges, by the way, not all at once, but the one in which the most is left, which, in principle, is reasonable. Now why not the FCC. The maximum distance I flew while sitting on the roof of the dacha was 1763 meters. Is it a lot? Objectively - yes, for such a small drone with stock antennas. In the city, of course, it’s sadder, but it’s quite realistic to count on 300-500 meters. In any case, I'm satisfied. But if not, then there are reinforcement solutions that allow you to increase the flight range to 3-4 km. And the remote control holds for a very long time, once every 2-3 flight days to charge. And on this good note, I propose to move on to the minuses, although they are not serious: 1) Motor covers. They are thin, it is inconvenient and scary (especially in the field) to screw in the propellers of the blades. But, in fairness, 3 screw replacements have survived so far. 2) Already at dusk, harsh noises begin. You can fly at night, but you can really shoot only something bright. 3) No 4K 60fps, but here the questions are not about the drone itself, but about its positioning in the lineup, and that's it. 2.7K is absolutely useless, I shoot at 1080 for the sake of 60 frames. The same can be said about Active Track. 4) There are no sensors to avoid upward collisions. Why is this a problem? Yes, because if he himself set the return height (RTH) to the standard 30 meters, and the signal is lost under the 10-meter bridge, then you no longer have a drone: it flew up and crashed on the bridge. But this, again, is more a wish than a disadvantage. 5) It is inconvenient to remove and put on a cap on a suspension with a camera. Well, the truth is, every time I'm afraid to tear off the suspension, the latch is absolutely inconvenient. . and that's all. I really couldn't find any cons. The drone has been happy for half a year already. I see no reason for myself to take AIr 2. One of my best purchases, I advise everyone who is not engaged in commerce on a drone and flies for the soul. The limitation in characters did not allow me to write everything, but I spoke the main points. Thank you all for reading to the end :D

Pros
  • Well, it's time to write a review on this beauty. I deliberately restrained myself in order to move away from the joy of the purchase and give out an emotionless (as far as possible: D) review. To start with, my first drone was Trello. This choice was not without reason, as I described in detail in my review of it. In short, the idea was to take a hard-to-kill drone, on which to learn how to fly, so that there would not be such an opportunity as a drone crashed on the first day for 30+ thousand. The thought is correct, so I licked the Mavic Mini and postponed the purchase for later. So a couple of months of very dense daily flights and falls on Trello passed, which, by the way, he withstood with honor at the cost of a couple of propellers. And at some point I realized: it's time. I thought between the FCC and our version, in the end I chose ours. In fact, I think I do not regret it, later I will explain why. I took Fly More Combo, which I also think is a great idea: separately then buying batteries is 2k apiece. So it will not be cheaper to collect such a combo later. It is also worth noting the charger - excellent, support for QuickCharge (it will flash faster than normal charging), it works from the bank. The case is also great, put it on the dirt many times and it still looks great. The first flight - ecstasy, another world, extravaganza of emotions. In view of the presence of some flying skills, I immediately went to "open water" a short distance from the Hong Kong Ring Road (we do not violate the laws, where the Mini is good again - 249 grams, there is no registration). That is, as it were, not the center of interference, but they are still quite serious, and besides, a healthy metal bridge is nearby. Automatic channel detection works fine, but it’s still better to set it manually (fortunately, the drone itself will tell you which one is the freest in the application), especially in conditions of an open field. We set the sport mode, and oh, how it brings down: put it in an angle of 40 degrees in flight, when changing the direction of flight, it’s not a question at all, climb, wind resistance .
