We love this bed now after not unpacking it for 3-4 days it is swollen and less lumpy than when first opened. You'll need to stretch and pull the foam on the inside a few times for it to fully inflate. The fabric is very soft and our kitty loves to kneel on it even though this is for our 14 lb Pomeranian. The large travel size is also for the little family members who need extra security when traveling in a vehicle. The zippers also allow you to remove the interior for washing.
