Ideal! In my opinion

Love Sperry boots and LOVE them. My daughter is obsessed with cheetahs now and she was jumping up and down looking at them. She never did that with shoes and loved them so much. Hooray!

These boots are perfect for a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, camping and walking. Cons

The boots only come in one size (1 US Large Kid) which may not fit children with larger or smaller feet, preventing them from wearing that particular style.
