Update 7/1/18: The chair creaks very badly at the slightest movement and the seat cushion is a joke. I separated and the front splints hurt my legs. I will buy a separate seat to be more comfortable because my butt hurts when I sit on this chair! DO NOT BUY. This chair replaces another one I've had since 1988 (it eventually broke after all these years of sitting). The design of this chair leaves a lot to be desired. The welds are very dirty, the wheels are very cheap and the coating feels very plastic. When assembling the chair I screwed all the screws in tight and when I was 'finished' and walked into the room where this chair will be placed I noticed that the back of the chair was dangling. I saw that the screws holding the top to the armrests were unusually unscrewed. I grabbed the tool provided and found the screws came out about 1/3 of the way. I suspect that after moving the chair into its final position, it had to be adjusted to secure the screws in the right place. I'm a heavy person and the £500 rating drew me to this great value chair; but I doubt the design of it since half of the bottom part where the wheels attach is plastic. On a quality chair, this part is a one-piece steel construction since it supports all of your weight. I don't think I'll live off this chair as long as I did the previous one. 2 stars for material and product quality, 4 stars for price, 5 stars for delivery.
