Timex T715BX3 Dual Alarm Radio

I have just replaced a fancier dual alarm radio that only lasted about 5 years before the alarm stopped working. I couldn't set the alarm anymore (it was a Timex MP3 line-in with CD player alarm). I've never had dual alarms before Timex MP3, but I've found it to be a good solution for those who need to wake up slowly and have trouble waking up. I can set the Timex T715BX3 alarm to wake me up to the radio and then set the secondary alarm to wake me up with a buzzer that usually wakes me up from bed. That way I can wake up slowly to the radio and be ready to jump out of bed to the buzzer. When I couldn't set the alarm on my more expensive radio, I decided that I was looking for a radio that didn't have the electronic alarm settings but the rotary knobs that the Timex T715BX3 has. I hope this lasts longer. I've only had it about a month, but I like the style, the controls are easy to use, the sound quality is just what I need (I don't listen to Beethoven on it), and the reception is good. too much of. I also like the fact that the Timex T715BX3 doesn't beep when the alarm is set. An old Timex lover used to do this, which meant that if my husband was already asleep when I went to bed and set the alarm, he was disturbing him. On the new Timex (with buttons) there is no sound when setting the alarm.
