Review on Lustro Italiano Etch Remover 8 Ounce by Jerry Peebler

Made the mistake of rinsing my dog in a very mild (10%) vinegar solution after bathing. When he came out and shook his hair out on my marble floor, it never occurred to me that this mild solution would attack the floor. Surprise! It was completely rusted where all the countless drops fell. I called a marble restoration company and they offered me $600 for my small bathroom. Then I found it on the web. Good news, this has removed most of the etching and my floor is shiny again. The bad news is that you need to rub it in for some time to get the job done. I haven't removed any deep etches but they say you have to do it several times and they get better too. Since it was a strenuous job, I divided it into 2 hours. per day X 4 days, covering about 2 square feet each time. It would actually be a lot easier for smaller jobs like countertops. However, it has restored my floor enough that I can go to the toilet without crawling. Most people wouldn't have noticed it was damaged unless they looked closely at a few corners where the engraving was deeper and needed an extra round or two.
