I did a lot of research before purchasing this headset and it met my expectations. The sound is perfect unless "superhuman hearing" is turned on. As several other reviewers have noted, it's very tinny, meaning you can hear every high-pitched note in game very well, but hardly any bass or mids. Make sure there is nothing between the headset and the dongle, otherwise it can turn off sometimes. However, a few times I went up to my second floor for a drink, still with the headset on, and I hear my game or video perfectly the entire time.
