Bought for use with my Really Right Stuff Rig. It's Rail and I didn't want to pay twice for RSS and my guess was correct. I wasn't really all that warm and fluffy when I ordered this, I was just guessing at the switching logic. It's aluminum and features an Arca Swiss groove, what could go wrong? Turns out the thumbscrew with tension from 2 springs is really good. I can't tell for sure if the thumbscrew is plastic or aluminum, I'm leaning toward aluminum because it feels the same as the rest of the rail. The scale advances from 0 to 95 and then narrows from 0 to 40. clamping side. No inclines or inclines. Actually it's not that much. I use this with RSS B2-AS-II-1/4-20: Lever Lock Clip. I decided against buying the Sunwayfoto panorama clamp. I'm used to stretching my legs pretty quickly. I'll say it's the same quality as my RSS ball head and clamp. After setting and checking the parallax points on every lens I use for panoramic photography I was very happy with this purchase. The packaging was excellent! My Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L at 24mm is on the 93 scale for deparallax, and it's not much as the scale approaches 95. Canon 16-36mm f/2.8L and Canon 24mm f/1.4 liters also worked.
