Honestly, judging by some reviews, I expected the quality to be much worse. Yes, the leggings are not very thick; If you stretch them, you can definitely see through them. However, I usually don't wear either underwear or thongs/seamless. My concern may have been if I was doing a lot of weights/squats; I'll probably wear a pair of my prettier leggings these days because I don't fully trust the material. However, they are not that thin and are more stable due to the ribbed material. Also, they're not the most volatile, but I definitely wasn't expecting that for $30. I really like the bra, it's very flattering and supportive but comfortable at the same time. I also expected the material to be much poorer in quality, but it feels good. Overall I would love to wear it to the gym because it's a really cute set. If you want something cute and functional without breaking the bank this is definitely a good buy, but unless you have a really good quality pair of leggings I would definitely invest in these just to complement.
