We have a 1 year old girl who is a husky and malamute mix and she chews SUPER. She somehow managed to bite through the bars of the sofa next to her kennel, creating a huge hole. wm. We bought it so it wouldn't happen again and so far it's worked! About a month has passed and it seems to her that she likes her kennel even more, now she looks like a "cave". We leave the sides open so she can breathe and see, but that was great. Love the material and the color and the little tent-like clips that hold the doors open. My only complaint is that our robot vacuum managed to catch on one of the corners and pop out of the clip holding it to the bottom of the kennel. Although it is still in place, it dangles and no longer borders on the kennel. I don't think it would be great outdoors or with heavy use but to sit in our living room it adds comfort to her kennel. .
