I bought these for use on an extended travel trip and now keep them in my travel toiletry bag. The fold up case allows you to dry off the toothbrush before storing, and you won't be relying on putting a wet toothbrush into a zippy bag. The 2-pack option was great as then me and my husband had a travel toothbrush. I put the toothbrush and a travel size toothpaste in a zip bag in my backpack and it's easily accessible during long flights, or simply whenever I need to freshen up. The quality was good for travel - no issues with the hinge or the brush. I would say the brush part is comparable to a soft toothbrush.
