Review on πŸŽ’ Exploring Efficiency: JanSport JS0A3P184J9 Pike Backpack Surplus for Adventurers by Angela Fields

Almost perfect for backpacks

Bought for school/work/commuting. What was needed was a bag large and strong enough to hold 10-20 pounds of books or gear. Suitable for older model 13" MacBook Pro. The case is casual yet clean enough to use at both school and work. The case doesn't look too big or bulky, for reference I'm 5ft 2" tall and it fits well. There are only 3 things I would like to change: 1. I wish it had a chest strap. I fixed this by stealing the strap from another bag that I don't currently use .Not a big issue but it would be nice to have this feature enabled. That's fewer complaints and more comments.2.I wish the bag was more waterproof.I bike a lot so expect to get wet as well my stuff. There are always ways around this and I know the tarpaulin material is Jansport branded material but sometimes it would be nice to have an extra layer of protection from the rain. My biggest issue with this bag is the internal divider in the heap ptfold. Whenever I open the bag my fingers get caught on the divider when trying to put my stuff in and end up hiding things in the divided compartment rather than the main compartment. I think part of the problem is that the baffle is the same height as the front of the bag. Functionally it would be better if it was lower or higher to solve this problem. Personally, I don't need a separator, so I'd omit it altogether. All in all, this is a versatile bag with pockets for everything. The zippers are no problem and the double bottle pockets are great. I'm happy with it, I like the design even better than the Jansport Hatchet bag that I also have.
