This bank doesn't keep totals for long. We put our first change in the bank and left it for a few weeks. More coins were deposited, but the amount of the previous deposit was not saved. A bit of a waste - any old can would be just as good as this one.

Great product, accurate, durable and big enough to hold lots of coins. Great gift for a child or in my case for my husband who used to throw change in a bowl that kept getting full. The total is recorded each time coins are inserted, but the battery is not used at any other time.

I got it in a piggy bank for my kindergarten kid. It looks cheap but it was perfect for my son. He put all his money in it and counted each one carefully. I actually had to add invoices for it manually. A few days later he added some quarters and the score started at 0. So I gave it 3 stars. A little bit frustrating.

When I received it I left more than $80 in change, no problem with accuracy even depositing coins quickly . The only downside is that inserting coins can be a bit difficult, the mechanism is very resistant. Just use a steady hand and some strength and no problem. The buttons are pretty easy to use so you can manually increase or decrease the number of coins if you have a lot of loose change and you know the value and just want to open the lid and drop it.

Bought 2 of these for my 2 and 5 year olds and we were all thrilled they would count money with them. After following the instructions and putting in new batteries, none of them work. Not entirely sure why none of them work, but very frustrating. We could just cut a hole in a water bottle and it would serve the same purpose.
