I'm a paramedic, so I wash my hands often! I don't exactly swim with him but I wash my hands, wrists and forearms and shower with him often and I've had no problems - and I work the night shift - I like that he can work in wartime - and count days off - I like that it shows me the date and day. I also note my heart rate and breathing rate so I can estimate the seconds counted. I've been wearing it almost daily for about two weeks, get compliments and it's perfect for what I need. Some of the settings are a bit confusing and I understand why there are complaints about the backlight function being too short, but I don't mind. As for the quality, for this price I will buy a new one if the straps break.
