These mats are fine. Not big, but mostly the seller's problem. Sent late, only received after 5 days. But they offer 2x more for only $5 which is deceptive as it was not made clear on the page.

Store bought 8x10 mat with 5x7 hole. The 5x7 image is too large for an opening. I measured the hole and it's 4.5" x 6.5" so it's too big for a 4x6 picture. Not good. It's too late to resize images.

I am very glad that I was able to order a set: mats, pads and bags. They come in a beautiful brown cardboard box which is great for storage. My work looked great with the mat and packaging, and gifting is a real pleasure!

These inexpensive mounts are purchased for quick application to artwork. IMO they are not considered for archival purposes but are labeled as acid free. They haven't been with me long enough to tell if they're going to disappear from art. I find them easy to use and a time saver rather than cutting my own little rugs.

Several sheets arrived from the packaging with the same corner damaged, but the damage wasn't severe enough for me to use passepartouts. I wish they were a bit bigger as the size doesn't leave room for frame resizing. FYI, 8x10 frames aren't all 8x10 and some dowels are deeper than others. Encouraged me to give up and buy a carpet cutter. All in all it's a good deal if you have the right frame.

This is the second time I've ordered these and this time I'm a bit disappointed. There are visible markings on 2 mats that look like paper pulp or something, but they are dark and visible and I feel like I can't use them. The plastic bushings are also very mismatched where the sealing line is. Some fit snugly inside the mats like they're supposed to, but many need to be folded so the frame moves inward. It's hard to describe, but it's very frustrating to seal up and doesn't look as pretty as it

I bought these to use when carefully cutting craft fabrics. The 8 x 10 outer size is used for larger cutouts, while the 4.5 x 6.5 inner size is ideal for emphasizing small designs and card backgrounds. And I can use them to see true colors. They are of good quality and colour. I would definitely use them for photos.

I paint with watercolors during and after my travels. Then I like to frame them and give them to my fellow travelers as a souvenir of the trip. With these precut acid free mounts and backings I can buy inexpensive ready made 8x10 frames, matte pictures with a 5x7 hole and get a great presentation for very little money.
