This light is the only one I have that stays where you point it. Everyone else with thick rubber bands slides everywhere. The lightweight mounting base is sturdy and closes like a quick release seat or tire clip. You can tighten it by turning it and when you close the lever it doesn't move while you ride. To prevent theft I sometimes remove the lights from the base and when I put them back they still shine in the direction I walked. They have weathered and survived LOTS of rain (I had 2). Not the brightest light you can get, but very reliable and easy to use. I will never buy non-rechargeable flashlights again. The little red man that comes with it is cute, rechargeable too, but if the rubber band breaks it's useless.
