This device is actually not HDMI -Extenders. It always outputs 1080p to the sink no matter what source resolution you set. Essentially, this device captures an image from a source, transmits it over CAT6, and then displays it at 1080p. This leads to problems with image sharpness, especially with texts. This causes a serious problem with 4:3 projectors that I have tried to use this unit on.
