MagSafe or not, it works!
I have this for my iPhone XS. The magnet sticks very well to the metal ring that I bought separately. I have very VERY stiff suspension on my truck so you can feel EVERY bump in the road. I've only dropped my phone once and that was when I hit a very big pothole. I would 100% recommend this to not only anyone with a MagSafe compatible phone, but anyone with another phone that supports wireless charging. and also if you have a MagSafe compatible case/ring!
