Okay, ladies, let's be realistic. If you're a tall mature woman, which I clearly am, and you expect a swimsuit to make you look like a supermodel, swimwear isn't for you. Spandex cannot make you 10 sizes smaller. I personally feel very comfortable in a swimsuit with arms wide open, ironically I don't feel comfortable in any other clothing with open arms. But I digress. As you can see in the photo, I'm not just a tall girl, I'm a tall girl with zero muscle tone. I'm just really fluffy. The color of this suit is BEAUTIFUL. This is a beautiful wine color. How it holds up in the sun I don't know as I just received it. But honestly I never paid attention to it. In summer I spend a lot of time in the pool and between the sun and chlorine I expect my suits to fade. I don't understand people who are stunned when this happens. The fit, perhaps most importantly, is top notch. I am amazed that it clearly came from overseas as I ordered it on March 28th and only received it on May 2nd. (Note: I'm one of the main contributors, but when I ordered the burgundy, it didn't match Prime, even though it's available now!) Also, the size chart should always explain what the US equivalent is. Other than that I liked the color so the delivery delay didn't bother me at all, I mean technically summer isn't here yet. I can't believe how well this fits. To help you understand, I'm 5ft 7in, 290lbs, and 46DD chest (note my girls haven't greeted the sun on their own in over a decade, they hang like hot water bottles ). At Lane Giant, I mean Bryant and Torrid, I usually wear a 22-24 so their sizing chart seems accurate. The top provides enough support for my sagging girls. The costume has bones. I've never had underwires in a swimsuit (I wasn't aware of this when I ordered) and given how uncomfortable an underwired bra can be I was concerned. That was not necessary. The halter neckline helps lift the girls up and I love the addition of two little spaghetti straps. over shoulder; Of course they would be useless on their own, but they gave me a sense of extra security ONLY in case the holster came loose; I don't usually wear ties. This top lifts the girls just enough and shows just the right amount of cleavage plus white spaghetti strap accent, I swear I haven't felt this sexy in a swimsuit in years. My SO (significant other) likes it too. He really did look twice. I personally have trouble closing the back strap, but that's what SO is for. Depending on your own skills, you may or may not be able to hook this up yourself. It's a little snug, but in a good way as it helps the bones do their job (IMO). The bra is padded and part of me wishes it wasn't because I'm not a big fan of padded bras, not with boobs my size. I'm not sure how well they will wear out as these inserts usually have a tendency to fold and shift, but we'll see. my huge belly I thought I would complain about the boy's short bottom as there is a seam down the middle. Usually at the bottom of a swimsuit, this is a kiss of death as the seam tends to go up, well, a cleft in the ass. That didn't happen. I didn't even know there was a seam. So once again very impressed. Didn't think to take a picture, but like the model, the bodice ended about halfway down the belly button. It didn't quite cover everything, but it was quite large (which is what I expected). As you can see from the photo, the floor outside the pool is not visible at all. I love the short boy factor and will use it with other suits that don't hang as long when I'm lazy and don't want to shave my bikini line. Even if I digress. I bought this suit to wear to the pool and beach this summer and since it's May I haven't had the chance yet BUT I've worn it to aqua aerobics. This suit is definitely not made for that, because the skirt of the top billows and floats like crazy. So if you plan on swimming etc. be prepared. I will say the girls NEVER fell out in 45 minutes! The boy's shorts stayed in place with no problems. This is my favorite costume of the last few years.
