Easy assembly. My problem is that the metal grille is a bit flimsy and you can't put anything on the support bars or it will tip over. You need to pull everything together on both sides of the bars. The upside is, if it doesn't bother you, it sits over my sink and gets wet all the time, and I haven't seen any signs of rusting or damage to it. It's not a bad shelf, I just hate that I can't arrange my bottles, I have to put them in a pile.
