I thought this shelf was expensive until it arrived. It's very durable and offers even more storage than shelves I've bought in the past. I sprayed it with clear rustoleum for fear of possible rusting. I am happy with this purchase. Maybe I'll buy another one in the future.

Okay, here's the thing. Maybe a clear coat on the metal would work. I've used it over the sink in my bathroom for soaps and lotions. Rusted after 2 weeks. Shame as I used to really like this little helper - I plan on sanding it down, applying an anti-rust clear coat to it and trying again, but for the money I honestly expected it to last a little longer. Maybe I'll just use the plastic instead :(

Easy assembly. My problem is that the metal grille is a bit flimsy and you can't put anything on the support bars or it will tip over. You need to pull everything together on both sides of the bars. The upside is, if it doesn't bother you, it sits over my sink and gets wet all the time, and I haven't seen any signs of rusting or damage to it. It's not a bad shelf, I just hate that I can't arrange my bottles, I have to put them in a pile.

Product Side shelves sloped inwards. It's easy to assemble, but the way the side shelves are attached leaves them tilted toward the center so anything that fits on top slides down. If what you use it for isn't short, it will tip over. While the midsection is sturdy, it's still not very user-friendly as the wire mesh is rough and anything flimsy will tip over.
