I was looking for a good sized aquarium but not too big. I love that it has multiple lighting modes and a filter. What I should have paid more attention to were other people's comments about the fish they were eating. As other people have written, this is not the best aquarium for shrimp or bettas. The current's too strong for these guys. To be honest, if you want fish other than bettas, you're going to need a bigger tank than this anyway. Other than that, this is a tank that was safely manufactured (well packaged), almost fully assembled and easy to use. The direction of what was all a bit difficult to understand and honestly I thought it had a bubbler but it didn't. I would also like the top of the filter element to be replaceable individually, not just the whole thing. Seems a bit wasteful. Despite this, this is a good solid aquarium.
