I ordered these shoes for my husband to wear to an evening wear event. You looked great in his tuxedo. He said they were very comfortable (he wore them for over 6 hours). However, they run large so I had to return my original order and order half a size smaller than his usual size. He received many compliments on these shoes. He wore them to an outdoor wedding and the shoes ended up covered in mud. The next morning the dried dirt was very easy to remove from the velvet; It appears that the shoes were pre-made. I had expected a lot of cleaning and actually considered whether I should have ordered patent leather shoes. I was amazed at how easily the dried mud came off the shoes. I didn't have to brush them, instead the dirt came off with a simple flick of a rag. These shoes can also be worn with jeans or other casual pants, parties, etc. They look great and are easy to clean. I highly recommend this shoe - and can't believe the price!
