Review on 🐠 JC&P Full Spectrum Aquarium LED Light for Aquatic Fish Tanks - Extendable Brackets, Red, Green, Blue and White LEDs by Rachel Coppedge

Hello Revain customers. I would like to start by saying that this is only the second review I have written here. I bought the 28-36" and 20-27" models. Light 28-36 inches are advertised with 24 watt consumption. Given the price of 35.99, I thought it was a good deal at 1.50 per watt, which is the most you can spend on this type of device with inexpensive chips. I was very disappointed when I turned on the light on my wattmeter and found it drew only 16.8 watts. That puts the cost at 2.14 per watt, which is well above the price of the chips you get. I started testing a 20-27 inch model that claims 16 watts and draws only 11.6 watts. This model at 27.99 is 2.41 per watt, more profit for the seller and less light for you. Undoubtedly, the requirements for luminous flux are also exaggerated. I called "John" from the management team at JC&P as instructed to discuss these issues before posting a negative review. There was no reply and neither was my mailbox. My advice to my fellow buyers is to stick with chip-on-board LED (COB) bulbs. They are much more efficient, use the advertised power and can be purchased here at Revain for 1.40-1.75 per watt. As for me, the two lights I bought didn't have the advertised lumens or wattage, so they're useless for the planted aquariums I intended them for. I just wanted to send them back and that's it. But then the disappointment of many fake advertisers, coupled with the lack of response from "John”, inspired me to go the other way. I sent both flashlights to a reputable company for a real bullet test. This shows the true luminous flux and efficiency (lm/Watt and ppf/Watt) of these units. More money out of my pocket but worth showing a little truth. I will be happy to send the spheres review to my fellow users as soon as it is received.
