Definitely a hit with our two granddaughters aged 6 and 8. However, the instructions for the fastening clips that hold the ends of the rubber band together are not quite as simple. We thought we'd follow the directions but snapped the clips into place before attaching the hair tie. If you watch the YouTube video related to this brand, then it's easy. The girls watched the video and were able to make rubber bands without adult supervision. I doubt we could have understood that without YouTube. So the moral of the story is, if you don't want to waste a few clips, DO NOT attempt to make hair ties until you've watched the video tutorial. Beautiful coats have come out of it!
