Nice idea but made very cheaply. My daughter was very disappointed after making her first scrunchie because it broke. The glue is terrible - not sticky enough to glue the fabric together.

Bought this gift for my 4 year old daughter. It is intended for children from 6 years old, so I took care of her and helped her. I felt like it was a big bond for us. This is probably the worst thing I have ever bought. It's cheap and the fabric is frayed and just looks bad. There is fabric glue, but it does nothing but dark, hard stains on the fabric. I thought my daughter could make some cool hair ties but instead we threw them in the trash. Cheaper and better to buy ready-made.

Definitely a hit with our two granddaughters aged 6 and 8. However, the instructions for the fastening clips that hold the ends of the rubber band together are not quite as simple. We thought we'd follow the directions but snapped the clips into place before attaching the hair tie. If you watch the YouTube video related to this brand, then it's easy. The girls watched the video and were able to make rubber bands without adult supervision. I doubt we could have understood that without YouTube…

Bought for my niece. It was a little tricky, the fabric glue that came with it didn't hold the fabric together. In general, she was excited, she just could not do it herself, and she is 10 years old.
