It should have been easy to assemble straight out of the box. IT DID NOT HAPPEN! 1- It took hours of fiddling and changing cables to get it working. How difficult is it to connect HDMI and USB2.0 (printer cable) from each computer to the "box"? Not difficult right? NOT RIGHT! Well, the damn thing didn't work right out of the box. As far as I can tell (guess) my 2 computers were set to different resolutions, each incompatible with the opposing monitor. 2- As a result, there was a huge web of wires on my desktop. I can't hide it because I need to be able to push a button to switch. Worst of all, HDMI and USB go to the back, and mouse cables, keyboards, and speakers go to the front. TERRIBLE DESIGN! 3- I don't know how long this will take, but if it doesn't work I won't replace it with a similar design. 4- Before switching, you must stop everything that is using the speakers (e.g. playing music).
