I'm a beginner They are so easy to use. I wanted red, white and blue nails for the 4th of July and I didn't like white ones so I tried silver! I polished them to a chrome look. I applied a white stripe from the bottom corner to the opposite top corner and then applied a bit of chrome powder to each side of the white. I had more additions on my nails! People were shocked when I told them it's acrylic with gel polish and I make them myself post Covid. I'm a recently retired RN, not a professional nail technician! I'm nowhere near as good as a pro (I can't paint on nails), but I'm saving about $150 a month and learning!
