Very warm. One reviewer mentioned that it's a bit like wearing boxing gloves, which are just around the corner. These are definitely thick, clunky, ugly mittens, but they'll keep your hands warm in even the coldest of conditions. My pair was a little more orange or amber than the bright yellow in the product photos. They don't seem to be very waterproof, so you might want to wax them if you use your hands in the snow a lot. You lose a lot of your dexterity when you wear them, but you can still do things like shovel, or hold a dog leash, etc. Imagine your warmest pair of mittens, and then think five degrees warmer and boom, you have these nasty ones Guys.
