All in all everything I was hoping for. The tubes are clearly quite thick and will support both my laptop and monitor with minimal wobble with no issues. The flat table clamp is always the weakest link in these clamp systems but these guys have doubled the base metal plate so there is absolutely no way it will bend and flex when a side load is applied to it I had a problem, I install it with a thru bolt (not a yoke) and the threads in the down tube are sharpened at an awkward angle (see pic, the screw is straight, the threads aren't) to make it work anyway, but unfortunately the only way to make it difficult is to try and punch a hole drill in my bench at the same angle (my hole is already there and it's straight) The angle is trying to get the pipe to center on ei ne funky way to bend and won't tighten.
