Review on 🚰 Amarine Made AC 110V Self Priming Water Pressure Diaphragm Pump - Ideal for Caravan, RV, Boat, and Marine Use by Adam Hogan

We bought this pump to use in combination with a storage tank and a pressure tank for our cabin without a well. Unfortunately we were not able to install the unit within the return window if we had returned it quickly but we were three days late. Barb adapter to screw on over 1/2 thread, this device had separate thread and barb adapters. The fitting attached to the pump was a simple O-ring pressed into a recess and secured with a plastic clip. After installation, it became clear that the weight of conventional armored pipes is enough to move the fittings. I suspected the connection would not be watertight. I was not disappointed, immediately after connecting the pump, water started spraying out of the outlet fitting and all over my room. Not a single PSI made it to the pressure tank. I'm not sure what this pump is made for, but I find it very hard to believe that it will leak at ANY pressure. We learn from our mistake and buy a Shurflo series pump to complete our cabin.
