Broken after 2 months - accessories

About 2 months of use, the screw that holds the ring on the part that attaches to the phone is about to fall out. I have to throw it away as it's not a screw and I can't screw it back in. I liked that I can attach the hook to my car on a 3m long piece. I saw they sold those ring holder parts for 5 less but it still sucks I have to replace them after such a short life.
