The only thing that disappointed me about this lamp was my own misunderstanding that the MR20 has a larger emitter diameter than the small GU10 halogen lamps that come with most common track lights. , this lamp has a wonderfully warm color temperature, matching most 50W, 35W halogen and 20W xenon lamps. Four different intensities of warm halogen light (that's around 2800K, +/-) on the same track provide the ability to illuminate gathering places such as coffee tables or dining tables. This brighter bulb allows art objects to glow up close with less wattage. , and walls, corners, and pathways can be illuminated without detracting from the artistic flair or human focal points of the space. This lamp is used in combination with 4 x 20W xenon, 5 x 35W halogen and a vintage/Edison style LED, all controlled by a Lutron Maestro MACL-153M dimmer. Excellent dimming performance and the combination provides everything from bright task light to cozy decorative lighting.
