So I was in the market for some VR games and decided that if I wanted to surround myself with unbeatable graphics I could also go for unbeatable sound. I bought excellent headphones: Beyerdynamic DT-990-Pro-250 Professional acoustically open headphones for monitoring and studio applications. And of course I needed a high quality sound card to pump high quality sound into it. I'm so glad I bought this. you have no ideas Words really can't describe how great the sound I've had since I've had this. I've always used a crappy pair of wireless headphones and it's impossible to describe the difference in sound quality when paired with great headphones. Another good feature of the sound card is that it relieves the processor somewhat. Because of this I got a few extra frames in a lot of my games. Also, I started hearing much more accurately in games where an enemy player might be located. In the case of Overwatch, with great sound design, this difference becomes even more apparent, to the point where people think I'm hacking when I hear them coming behind me.
