Every member of our family, except for two new grandchildren, has Christmas stockings that I made from kits or made up myself. Each was completed with wool yarn, and when my daughter in law chose this stocking for one of the boys I happily bought it.Everything came with it except dental floss of course.After finishing a bit working with dividing the strands of thread and then recombining the 8 strands for sewing decided I that I wouldn't be finishing this this Christmas I've definitely spent more time splitting the skeins than sewing them together and I need another stocking for my other grandson so I bought the Paternayan yarn to which the rest was sewn, pulled the floss out of the canvas and started over.I'm so glad I did this because not only was it a lot quicker wi rkt, but the wool also matches the one I have used in other stockings.
