Review on Premium Quality Tinkle Bells for Dogs - Mighty Paw Dog Doorbells for Potty Training and Housetraining by Ryan Talcott

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best purchase I've made in a long time.

I am ordering this for my 12 week old Pitbull. I didn't think he would catch right away but two days later he is there and paw ringing / sometimes his nose so he was released on the 'pot'. He's been doing it ever since. We love that bell. He used to just sit in front of our sliding door and never bark, so it was very difficult for us to understand why he had to use the potty when we weren't in the room. Now we know that the bells are of excellent quality, they are loud but at the same time gentle. We love it and are very happy with it. To teach him how to ring the bells we used the guide that came with these bells in my email, very easy and fun just 3 quick easy steps.1. Hang it where you like, on the door or near the door that the dog regularly uses to release.2. Call every time you walk your dog and use the word associated with the ring (potty for us). Be consistent, it's a must!3. Once he catches up and does it on his own, only reward him for potty training. Don't reward him if he just wants to be let out. Great steps and very easy. I didn't really have to teach him how to ring a bell with his nose or paw before finally hanging up the phone as some videos suggested. In my opinion, this is just unnecessary unnecessary training. I just hung up and eventually he knew instinctively that he had to use his paw/nose to make it ring.
