EDIT 7/20. Like many others, my bedspread stopped working. That's two months of use, and only half of the blanket actually heats up. It's actually not very good value for money. This is a poor quality electric blanket, good value for money. Anyone who has had electric blankets knows you get what you pay for. So don't be surprised if you pay less than $50 and get a blanket that only heats up on one side or breaks within six months. It's just a cheap electric blanket. I like that it's machine washable, although I'm a little afraid to wash it as it only gets hot on one side anyway. Where the wires work is great. I got it mainly as a blanket or scarf for sore shoulders so it still works for what I need and the ivory fur is soft enough. Kittens love to be simmered on my lap. However, if you need a quality electric blanket, it might be worth buying another one.
