1) Replacing the batteries with better ones;2) Finding a way to "cover” the bulb so insects and water don’t go in.The lights were easy to setup and install. Provides a good pathway light that is bright enough but not blinding/distracting. I do recommend replacing the battery with better ones. The description says the ones they provide last long, but I have found mine to last only 2-3 hours on average… and yes the solar panels are clean and in direct sunlight for over 6 hours. I replaced the batteries with solar capability and bigger charge, and so far they run really well. Likewise, it is possible insects and water could get inside. For the water, it could have been the orientation to the sprinkler but nonetheless, I ended up taping the holes to prevent.
