Review on πŸ’¨ Holmes White Convertible Desk and Clip Fan, Model HCF0611A-WM by Eric Render

which can be good or bad

I was looking for a desktop fan and didn't want to spend more than $20. A colleague had one so I bought it after trying a few other options that didn't work. I've been using it for a few months. - The clip is strong enough and I'm not worried about it wearing out over time. - The cable is twisted, which can be good or bad. Bad if you're looking for a more permanent setup where you can tape or hide the cable, but good if you move the fan around a bit and don't want the extra cable lying on the floor under your desk. I personally prefer coils. The two-stage on/off switch is a bit fiddly. I have the fan pointed at me, so I have to reach behind me to turn the knob, which is quite tight and difficult to turn at times. (That's the only reason I deducted a star). The fan is quieter than most other desktop fans, but not silent. It met my expectations for volume. The fan works great when you're sitting at the table it's attached to. This is a small fan, so don't expect to feel it all over the room. Again, my expectations of the airflow were justified. It's highly adjustable, almost omnidirectional. It's great, way better than just up/down or side to side. It doesn't wobble, but like most fans of this size, I personally still find the wobbling fans a bit annoying.
